2006 Wahle "Holmes Hill" Pinot Noir

Released Thanksgiving of 2007, this estate grown wine is the second bottling from our vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills.

Despite its youth, it is already quite approachable.

Holmes Hill is dry farmed and produced 1.5 tons of fruit per acre for this harvest.

The wine was aged 10 months in 25% new Radoux barrels.

The result is an exquisite presentation of a garnet color followed by blackberry and thyme aromas. Cherry and pomegranate flavors are prominent features of this wine.
